It’s almost time for
the fifth-grade students’ big fundraising efforts for their class trip to Eagle
Bluff Learning Center. We are hoping to
raise money in order to offset the cost of the trip, making it possible for all
students to participate. The used book
sale and basketball game featuring fifth-grade students vs. teachers are the
two traditional fundraisers taking place during the first week of March. We hope you will join us for these events
that are fun for the entire Folwell community!
In order to prepare
for the used book sale, we are collecting donations of gently used books for
all ages, as well as family DVDs (G or PG), and children’s story and music
CDs. All students and families will have
an opportunity to purchase books from the used book sale during the first week
of March. We will sell most items for
$1, with specialty items marked slightly higher. We hope to raise more than $800 through the
used book sale, so if you are ready to clear off your shelves, we will be
grateful for your donations!
