School Snacks - Make a Healthy Choice!

With all of the activities that are taking place at school, there is no doubt your child’s appetites will increase.  Sending snacks to school with your child is a great idea but make sure they have nutritional value.

Here are some healthy snack ideas:

·         Cut up fresh fruit (apples, oranges, grapes, etc.)
·         Fruit cups
·         Dried fruit
·         Carrot sticks
·         Celery sticks with peanut butter
·         Low fat granola bars
·         Small cereal boxes
·         Cheese (string, cubed, etc.)
·         Yogurt with a spoon or Gogurt
·         Trail Mix

Be sure to package snacks properly to avoid any undue messes. Healthy Snacks fuel successful learning!

Hallway Heroes

Folwell staff and students are hard at work practicing school expectations to create a safe and productive learning environment for all students. Each week our para professionals identify a classroom they have noticed walking through the hallways exhibiting these expectations. This week we are proud to announce Mrs. Larson's 4th Grade Classroom!
