Kindergarten Screening

Dear Kindergarten Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

We are excited your child will be joining us for kindergarten at Folwell Elementary for the 2016-2017 school year.  We are asking kindergarten students to attend a pre-kindergarten screener either Wednesday, August 17 or Tuesday, August 23, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Folwell Elementary School. Please enter the school through Door 1 (near the office). You will only need to attend ONE of these dates. The screening will last approximately 15 minutes and is completed on a first come first serve basis. 

What is a pre-kindergarten screener?: We will be asking your child to answer questions and perform various academic tasks. We hope to gain a better understanding of your child’s strengths and challenges prior to the start of the school year. 

This screener is different than the Early Childhood Check-In screener offered at the Northrop building!
