Public Service Announcement Lane Closings

Subject: PSA: Roadway Closings on 1 St SW between 16 and 17 Ave SW for Miracle Mile Project

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

RE: Lane Closings, 1st Street SW between 16th Ave SW and 17th Ave SW

Where: 1st Street SW between 16th Avenue SW and 17th Avenue SW
When:  Thursday, May 25th thru Friday, May 26th, 2017

Fraser Construction, in conjunction with the construction work taking place at the Miracle Mile project, will be closing a lane along the north side of the 1600 block of 1st Street SW.  This lane closure will be shifting traffic on 1st Street SW between 16th Avenue SW to 17th Avenue SW to the south side of the roadway in order to do allow for watermain utility work. This work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 25th and is expected to be complete by Friday, May 26th, 2017.
A “Noise Variance” has been granted to the contractor to allow for work to begin at 5:00 AM on Friday morning, May 26th. This variance is necessary to allow time for the watermain tie-in work to be completed before the surrounding local businesses open to the public for the day.

Access to all properties will be maintained during this roadway closure.

Drivers are advised to use caution while traveling around and through all construction zones.
