See You Tomorrow Night!

Bidding at the Folwell Silent Auction is easy.  These items will be located in the gym.  Just sign in at the registration desk, pick up a bidding number and you are ready to go!  Silent auction will end at 7:45 pm.  Winning bids will be highlighted.  Take your winning bid sheet (not your item) to the cashier.  Cash or check is preferred.  We will also take credit cards (percentage will go toward a credit card fee though). After payment, items you have won will be brought to you.  If you unable to stay for the ending of the auction, no problem.  We will call you afterwards and hold the item for you.

The items featured today are for those who enjoy cultural arts.  Whether it is music, art or fine dining (I used the term a bit loosely here); I think you will find something to please you.

Hennepin Theatre Trust
2 Tickets to Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (runs from June 6-June 29)

With a name like that, I would say that this would be something to watch WITHOUT kids!  BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON audaciously redefines America’s seventh president, the man who invented the Democratic Party and doubled the size of our nation, with a raucous blend of outrageous comedy, anarchic theatricality and an infectious rock score.  An exhilarating and white-knuckled look at one of our nation’s founding rock stars, this wildly entertaining musical recreates and reinvents the life of Andrew Jackson.

2 tickets to the Minnesota Orchestera for Mozart:  The Three Final Symphonies for June 7, 2014 at 8 pm

From the Minnesota Orchestra home page--Here in a single concert are three of the most amazing works of art ever created.  Mozart wrote his final symphonies in quick order, in a rush of expression, and no one has ever learned exactly why or for whom he composed them.  Each one is perfectly formed, and each also creates its own world, from the buoyant joy of Symphony No. 39, to the dark and visionary energy of No. 40, and then, finally, the grand summing up of No. 41.
