Freezin' for a Reason...Folwell Falcons want to take the plunge!

Want to see your teachers
Freezin' for a Reason?

In an effort to support the Special Olympics, 11 members of the

Folwell staff will be plunging into the frigid waters of Foster-Arend pond on

Saturday, February 10, 2018!

During the week of January 29-February 2, money will be collected in each classroom.  Student Council members will collect all forms of currency (coins, bills or checks made payable to the Special Olympics) each morning and a running total will be posted in the front foyer of the building.
In order for all 11 teachers to plunge, we need to raise at least $825.00
(but more would be great)!

Pledges can also be made online by visiting: https://reg.plungemn.org/team/thefreezinfalcons

Pledges can be made to individual staff members or the team as a whole, but each member of the team needs to raise at least $75.00 to jump, so we need to spread the wealth and make sure each teacher has at least that much!

Please help us support the Special Olympics by giving generously.  You are also invited to come out and watch our Freezin’ Falcons take the plunge.  Thank you for your support!

Folwell Follies Program Information

Folwell Follies is a program to showcase some of the many talents that we have at our school.  Facilitated by PTSA, students audition and practice before their final performances for their school and families.  You are invited to join us on Thursday, January 21st, at 1:30 or 7 p.m., at Folwell Elementary School.

If you plan to attend the Folwell Follies Event during the day, please note that parking will be a challenge. Parking is available south of the school, on 15th Ave, or East of 14th Ave on 7th St .  There may be some spots available in the parking lot at the back of the school.  If you park on 7th St, between 14th and 15th Ave, this is the “load and go” zone, and if cars are still parked by student dismissal, they may be ticketed.

All visitors, please enter Door #2, at the back of the building, near the gym..  You will be asked to sign in and wear a visitor badge.

Doors will open at 1:00 and seating will begin at 1:15.

In the event that you will be bringing your child or children home with you following the performance, you will have an opportunity to sign them out prior to the event.

After the program, students will be dismissed to their classrooms.  We ask that families remain in the cafeteria.  Your child or children will return to the cafeteria and you may exit the building using Door #2.

Thank you for your cooperation and support!
